The Crew

The installation division boasts of a team of qualified tradesmen with a blend of youth and experience. Our tradesmen are qualified with the Advanced LP Gas Certificate and D.J. Batchen employs a fully qualified and trained electrician. The team also has trained and qualified welders familier with specialised pipe welding techniques.

The team also includes trained supervisors which gives us the capability to work on multiple projects similtaneously.

The managers have formal project management skills and are constantly striving for process and safe working practice improvement.


Autogas Installations



D. J. Batchen Pty. Ltd. has been active in Autogas installations locally and overseas for the past 15 years. Primarily operating in NSW, the company has installed Autogas facilities in a variety of configurations (Underground, aboveground and mounded) for all major Oil and Gas companies and independent operators.

Also supplied the division has equipment and know-how for overseas Autogas projects in Indonesia, Vietnam, India, China, Hong Kong, Taiwan and other countries.

The installation division employs a team of fully qualified and experienced design engineers for all design work, including electrical, related to LP Gas systems. D.J. Batchen has qualified and trained CAD draftspersons to assist in design and documentation.
